About the Company

RFM manages approximately $2.0 billion of agricultural assets on behalf of retail and institutional investors. About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity where you will be supported to build your skills and gain a variety of experiences. RFM has commenced development of macadamia orchards in the Maryborough region and will require several casual farm hands. We are looking to build a pool of casual staff who we can call on for subsequent plantings. A limited number of ongoing roles will be available after the initial engagement.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Unloading of macadamia trees, planting, straightening, stomping, and raking

  • Maintaining high levels of personal and plant hygiene

  • Complying with organisational policies and procedures

  • Positively contributing to the team and culture.

Requirements

You will need to be:

  • A good listener and communicator with a friendly personality

  • Physically fit

  • Be willing to learn

  • Reliable

  • A holder of a C class drivers’ licence and have reliable transport to/from site

Benefits

On offer is an Award hourly rate (Horticulture Award) and you will be classified based on your skills and experience.
