Job Description:

As a Farm Hand at Murroo Farms, you will have the opportunity to work across various areas of our business, including operating GPS machinery for seeding, harvest, spraying, and spreading, as well as performing essential cattle work and general farm maintenance tasks. We value candidates with previous machinery operating and cattle handling experience who possess a strong work ethic and can thrive in a mixed farming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently operate cropping machinery with precision and attention to detail

• Perform cattle mustering, yard work, and assist with livestock management

• Conduct mechanical and general maintenance tasks to ensure farm infrastructure is in optimal condition

• Uphold farm safety standards and adhere to all operational procedures

• Communicate effectively with team members and demonstrate excellent organizational skills

Requirements:

• Proven experience in cropping machinery operation

• Previous cattle handling experience is essential

• Mechanical knowledge and skills to perform maintenance tasks

• Possession of a valid manual driver's license is a must

• Having a minimum open HR truck license is advantageous

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

• Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Working Holiday Visa holders and sponsorship seekers are not eligible)
