We have a permanent full time gardener-farm assistant position available at our 180-acre horse stud located at Mount White on the NSW Central Coast.

Description of the role

Carry out garden maintainable tasks to a high standard including but not limited to:

• Hedge trimming

• Weeding

• Mulching

• Pruning

• Lawn mowing and brush cutting

Property maintenance skills will be advantageous especially in the areas of:

• Irrigation repairs and basic plumbing

• Rural Fencing

• Machine operating experience including tractors, mowers and or forklifts.

• Mechanical knowledge including basic repairs

All applicants need to be over 18 years of age, hold a NSW Drivers license and be energetic and capable of strenuous physical labour. You must be well presented, take pride in what you do and have a high attention to detail.

This is an outdoor, varied role and the applicant must be able to show initiative and be able to work unsupervised. Previous experience working with or around horses would also be an advantage but not essential.
