How do I get an Australian agriculture visa?
There are a number of visa options for worker to work in the agricultural sector, including the Working Holiday Maker program, the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme, and the Student, Temporary Graduate, SHEV and TPV visa categories.
Working Holiday Makers
The Working Holiday Maker (WHM) program allows young adults to have a 12 month holiday, during which they can undertake short-term work and study. Australia offers two different working holiday visas: a Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417) and a Work and Holiday Visa (subclass 462). Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme
The PALM scheme is Australia's key program to address unskilled, low-skilled and semi-skilled labour shortages across rural and regional Australia. It allows Australian businesses to hire workers from nine Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste for seasonal work or longer engagements of up to four years, under certain circumstances.

Australia offers several different types of visas for international students which allow you to work while you are holidaying or studying here. You can work up to 40 hours every two weeks while you are studying, and unlimited hours during holiday breaks.
