Role and Responsibilities:
Perform general farm maintenance tasks, including cleaning and tidying the grounds, repairing fences, and maintaining farm buildings.
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
Set up and maintain irrigation systems.
Load filled fruit containers onto trucks.
Assist the farm manager in various areas of the farm as needed.
Requirements:
Availability to work weekends and early mornings.
Physically fit with good stamina to handle the physically demanding nature of the work.
Dedication, reliability, and a fast learner.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Horticultural knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.
Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
Benefits:
Full-time role with 30+ hours per week.
Competitive hourly rate of $27.76 - $29 per hour (including 8% holiday pay), negotiable based on experience.
