Packing Operator - Bay of Plenty, New Zealand

In this role, you will play a vital part in our food processing operations, ensuring the packaging of our dairy products meets our high standards. Responsibilities:

  • Operate packing machinery and equipment, following safety protocols and quality guidelines.

  • Address plant breakdowns and maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Utilize touch screen machinery for smooth operations.

  • Complete necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.

  • Maintain a strong focus on health and safety practices.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and teamwork in all aspects of the role.

  • Exhibit problem-solving skills and contribute to process improvements.

  • Adhere to hygienic standards in the manufacturing environment.

  • Perform manual lifting of up to 25kg when required.

Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to health and safety practices.

  • Experience in resolving plant breakdowns and conducting maintenance tasks.

  • Proficiency in operating touch screen machinery.

  • Ability to complete documentation accurately.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

  • Physical fitness for manual lifting tasks.

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
