Packing Operator - Bay of Plenty, New Zealand

In this role, you will play a vital part in our food processing operations, ensuring the packaging of our dairy products meets our high standards. Responsibilities:
Operate packing machinery and equipment, following safety protocols and quality guidelines.
Address plant breakdowns and maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
Utilize touch screen machinery for smooth operations.
Complete necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a strong focus on health and safety practices.
Demonstrate attention to detail and teamwork in all aspects of the role.
Exhibit problem-solving skills and contribute to process improvements.
Adhere to hygienic standards in the manufacturing environment.
Perform manual lifting of up to 25kg when required.
Requirements:
Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
Experience in resolving plant breakdowns and conducting maintenance tasks.
Proficiency in operating touch screen machinery.
Ability to complete documentation accurately.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Physical fitness for manual lifting tasks.
Previous experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
Excellent planning and time management skills.
