Aquaculture Farm Assistant - Grong Grong, NSW

Uarah Fisheries is the world’s first modern Murray cod farm and large-scale Australian native fish hatchery. We are Australia’s premier producer of high-quality Murray cod table fish for the restaurant and wholesale sectors, native fish fingerlings for conservation programs in the Murray-Darling Basin and exporters of Australian natives to the international market.

With our fingerling season currently underway, we are looking for a responsible candidate that is able to assist in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the hatchery and farm. Duties include all aspects of fish husbandry, harvesting and farm operations and all training will be provided. Previous aquaculture, science, farming, rural living experience and ability to start early February is desirable. Your own transport is required and applicants must currently be in Australia.

All work is suitable for Australian residents and for the Working Holiday Maker (WHM) program.

Working hours are usually 8 hours per day with a one hour break.

Award hourly rates apply plus superannuation.
