Job Description:
We are currently seeking multiple Farm Hands to join our team and work across our macadamia orchards in the Fitzroy region. As a Farm Hand, you will play a vital role in supporting our existing operations and development projects. Reporting to the Orchard Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking general farm work and assisting with daily farming tasks.
Contributing to the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
Operating farming machinery and equipment.
Assisting with herbicide and pesticide application.
Fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Hold a valid C class driver's license.
Have previous farm work experience (preferred).
Be flexible, reliable, and available to work varying hours, including Saturdays.
Demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude.
Possess a Chemical Users Certificate (preferred but not essential).
Hold a Certificate II or III in Rural Studies, Horticulture, or Agriculture (preferred but not essential).
