Position: Farm Supervisor

Location: Barrhead, AB

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of general farm workers and harvesting labourers

• Develop work schedules, establish protocols, and ensure adherence to farm safety and bio-security procedures

• Lead and supervise various crop-related operations, including planting, growing, and harvesting

• Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and achievements

• Operate and maintain a range of farm machinery and equipment

• Perform general farm duties to contribute to daily operations

• Collaborate with the team to optimize crop yield and quality

• Foster a team-oriented environment that promotes efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant farming experience or equivalent

• Knowledge of modern farming practices and equipment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and in physically demanding conditions

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated teamwork and organizational abilities
