Position: Vineyard Worker
Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON
Responsibilities:
Assist in planting, cultivating, and irrigating grapevines to ensure healthy growth
Operate and maintain essential farm machinery and equipment
Collaborate with the team to perform tasks critical to vineyard operations
Embrace physically demanding work, including repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, and kneeling
Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Follow established procedures to uphold grape quality standards
Actively participate in creating a positive and productive vineyard atmosphere
Requirements:
No specific degree or diploma required, but prior experience in viticulture or farming is beneficial
Passion for working outdoors and engaging in hands-on farming activities
Familiarity with farm machinery and equipment operation is an asset
Physical stamina to meet the demands of physically demanding tasks
Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions diligently
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
Availability to work between 40 to 50 hours per week
Work Schedule and Benefits:
Seasonal employment with a competitive hourly rate of $16.55
