Salary: $15.65 per hour, 30 to 40 hours per week

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a farm worker to join our team in Surrey, BC. As a farm worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the production of crops and livestock, including harvesting seedlings, mixing fertilizer, planting, cultivating, irrigating crops, weeding, fertilizing, and spraying crops. You will also operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, examine produce for quality, and prepare for market.

Qualifications:

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required

• Experience in farming or agriculture an asset

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in various weather conditions

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including day, evening, early morning, and morning shifts

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Physically capable of handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
