FRENZ Recruitment is currently hiring Dairy Farm Assistants for multiple farms across the country. Available Positions:
Couple required for 3 months starting September in Hastings (North Island)
Couple required starting mid-July until the end of September in Oamaru (South Island)
1 vacancy available for 6-8 weeks starting in August in Ashburton (South Island)
1 vacancy available for 3 months starting in August in Oamaru (South Island)
1 vacancy available for 6 months starting in mid-August in Murchison (South Island)
Responsibilities:
Assisting with daily dairy farm operations
Working with animals and ensuring their well-being
Learning and following farm protocols and procedures
Operating motorbikes or quads (required for some positions)
Working outdoors in various weather conditions
Following instructions and communicating effectively
Requirements:
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Previous experience in dairy farming, large animal care, or agriculture/horticulture (preferred)
Ability to drive motorbikes or quads (required for some positions)
Good English language skills and communication abilities
Valid driver's license (preferably) and access to a vehicle
Ability to work rotating rosters and under varying conditions
Package Includes:
Competitive hourly wage + 8% holiday pay
