One of our growth initiatives over the last 10+ years has been to expand into sustainable Dairy Goat Farming. We have a purpose-built milking system, housing sheds, and kidding facility and go over and above to ensure the wellbeing of our animals is being looked after in every way possible.

What you will be doing:

Milking in a rotary dairy shed and maintaining the milking plant and equipment

Helping with the general care, health and welfare of all animals including goat kids

We require someone with:

  • A strong work ethic, high level of reliability and a willingness to learn

  • Commitment to quality work and attention to detail

  • Physical fitness for farm tasks

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and longer hours during seasonal demand

  • Reliable transport and valid drivers licence

  • Good communication skills and proven ability to work within a team

It would be an advantage to have previous experience in the dairy goat industry however we are willing to provide training and support to individuals who have an interest in goat farming.

This is a drive-in position(i.e. no accommodation is provided). We are 10 minutes north of Hamilton in a rural setting. Hours will be as per the rotating roster but will range from 35-45 hours per week Monday - Sunday. Remuneration is based on experience however will range from $25-30 per hour. This role will be offered subject to a drugs test as per our company policy.
