About Haddon Rig Pty Ltd:
Haddon Rig Pty Ltd is a family-owned and progressive mixed farming and grazing operation located north of Warren, NSW. With a focus on food and fibre production, we are seeking an energetic and motivated Leading Hand/2IC to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations and production of 13,000 ha dryland and up to 1200 ha summer (irrigated) cropping throughout Haddon Rig.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to handle John Deere equipment.
Advantageous to have irrigation experience.
Effectively manage both internal teams and external contractors.
Demonstrate commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS) best practices and provide safety leadership.
Ensure environmentally responsible and sustainable management practices.
Supervise a small team and report to the Farm Manager on a daily basis.
Competency with Agworld and modern farming software.
Agronomic experience is an advantage.
Requirements:
Proven experience in food/fibre production and technology.
Ability to work in a small team and lead when necessary.
Competency with Agworld and modern farming software.
Good knowledge of John Deere equipment.
Experience in irrigation is advantageous.
Commitment to workplace health and safety.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
